It's beyond Indonesia drama movies. It's in different level. So
inspiring. So amusing. So tearing.
Definitely the best movie from Hanung, beside Jomblo.
For me, the best part is when Fahri in prison.
He is person in jail waiting for death sentence, he expelled by Al
Azhar, he is no one now.
He try to get pray, but he can't. He obviously too crush to get
sholat. He cry. He went to mad to Allah, but he can't, he know he
shouldn't and wouldn't. Then, his mate in prison tell him a secret. A
secret why God Almighty put him in prison.
'You know Yousuf story Fahri? You know?', his mate ask him with a very
intimidating voice. Fahri nod his head, just a little so he can sure
his mate. He then run his deep voice again, 'Yousuf is put in prison
too for Pharaoh wife accuse that Yousuf rape her. But he never
complained to Allah, he never blame his God. He pray to Allah.. "If my
life in prison is better than outside, then make me live in prison oo
Allah" '. Fahri just stood like a man spelled by medusa hearing this.
'Fahri.. Do you realize that you are too arrogant, too cocky with your
life'. Fahri says, 'No! I'm not'. His mate push him in the wall, grab
him in his shirt and say, 'Yes you are! Can't you understand? Allah is
speaking with you! Allah is communicating with you! Patient Fahri!
Accept His will! Ikhlas!'.
Then Fahri down with his knee, and crying for out loud. Understanding
that he is no one too protest his maker, his breath owner.
In this part of movie, i can't say that I'm not stunned. Often I
forgot to be patient. People are changing surround me. People are
getting their dream faster than me. People are smiling and laughing
right now. While I? This scene is not only happen in movie, it happens
in real life. It happen every time, and I forget to practicing.
Just now, my awareness about Ikhlas are up into my superego level. I
learn that Qada and Qadar concept in my religion shouldn't only said,
but to be done. Qada and Qadar teach us to have motivation to do
something, to change, to belive. But in the other side teach us to
accept God Almighty will. That something can't be change. It's His
secret what can be change and not. It has been arranged by Him.
Everyone get their role.
Our job is to do our best, and take the rest.
